What sizes are available for this bed frame?
We currently offer two standard sizes (Queen & King)
Check SIZE GUIDE BUTTON above, next to the color options
Is a box spring required?
Nope! This is a platform bed frame with built-in solid wood slats, so you can place your mattress directly on it — no box spring needed.
What kind of wood is the bed frame made of?
Our frames are crafted from FSC®-certified solid Acacia/Rubberwood, responsibly sourced from sustainable plantations in Southeast Asia.
Is the wood treated with anything toxic?
Absolutely not. All finishes are non-toxic and safe for indoor use, keeping your home environment clean and healthy.
What mattress thickness works best with this bed?
We recommend using a mattress between 8–14 inches thick for optimal comfort and support.
How much weight can the bed support?
The frame supports up to 800 lbs of combined weight (mattress + sleepers).
How high is the clearance under the bed?
There’s 6 to 9 inches of clearance depending on the size, perfect for under-bed storage or robot vacuums.
Will the bed squeak or shift over time?
Nope. The wooden joints are engineered for anti-squeak stability, and you can re-tighten the bolts after a year for long-term performance.
Is assembly difficult?
Not at all. You’ll receive step-by-step instructions, all tools included, and a helpful video guide to walk you through it.
Do the product photos match the real color?
Colors may vary slightly based on lighting. For best accuracy, set your phone screen to 80% brightness. Wood tones can look warmer or cooler depending on the light angle.

It is absolutely as you advertised.
We love our new bed frame. It was easy to put together and very sturdy. The headboard unfortunately has some big wave deformation in it pictured below. It goes across the entire headboard.
Fit my room
No MDF or cheap veneer here—this is heavy, solid wood. The corners are quite sharp, so I bumped my knee the first day, but the structural integrity and sleek mid-century design are top-tier.
Solid frame. The box was quite heavy, so definitely get a friend to help you move it inside. Once assembled, it doesn't squeak at all. Great purchase.
We are extremely pleased with our MEGSU platform bed frame. Very nice workmanship and it complements our bedroom perfectly. MEGSU also has incredible customer service.
Beautiful frame but one slat had a hairline crack on arrival.
Pattern looks handcarved even under close inspection.
Overall, the bed is what is advertised. Had an issue where the bed came in with a two damaged pieces due to shipping, once I contacted them, they immediately sent me a whole new bed without significant barriers. Easy to put together, sturdy, a little darker color than what was advertised but not significantly so.
What a great company to order from! Fast excellent ordering, had the bed delivered and easy assembly competed in less than a week.
thank you
Firm support is great for my back, harder for my partner.
Excellent frame and real acacia, one slat was missing from delivery.
Firmer slat support changed how rested I feel daily.
Wish it came in a darker finish to match my other pieces.
Three slats snapped within a month of normal use.
