Nope! This is a platform bed frame with built-in solid wood slats, so you can place your mattress directly on it — no box spring needed.
What kind of wood is the bed frame made of?
Our frames are crafted from FSC®-certified solid Acacia/Rubberwood, responsibly sourced from sustainable plantations in Southeast Asia.
Is the wood treated with anything toxic?
Absolutely not. All finishes are non-toxic and safe for indoor use, keeping your home environment clean and healthy.
What mattress thickness works best with this bed?
We recommend using a mattress between 8–14 inches thick for optimal comfort and support.
How much weight can the bed support?
The frame supports up to 800 lbs of combined weight (mattress + sleepers).
How high is the clearance under the bed?
There’s 6 to 9 inches of clearance depending on the size, perfect for under-bed storage or robot vacuums.
