Anyway, the box is long and heavy, and not a 1 person job to carry. It’s made in Vietnam and loaded with packaging materials. In fact, for the size of the box and with all the material, the amount of styrofoam is a bit surprising._x000d__x000d_

The instructions are minimal and still effective. All screws have threaded anchors and everything is fairly well made. The wood finish isn’t as smooth as expected, especially since acacia wood is generally an oily wood that allows for smooth surfaces._x000d__x000d_

The distressed look comes from a few impressions on the surface which could be intentional but are far from numerous. The stain is slightly lighter than the name suggests but a good match for my room._x000d__x000d_

Overall, the minimal design is effective and sturdy. The wood itself is pieced together, much like a cutting board. If that could cause structural issues, only time will tell._x000d__x000d_

The footprint of the frame is only minimally larger than the mattress itself. As such it’s very compact and certainly not a design that begs for center stage.

I loved the frame and the sturdiness it provides

Bought to replace a broken sleigh bed frame, as a replacement, it's perfect. As a stand-alone frame, it's a little underwhelming. The head board is shorter than expected and I can only see one board on top once my mattress was on. Forget it if there was a box spring involved._x000d__x000d_
The wood feels a bit flimsy and the assembly definitely requires more than one person. Overall I'm still going to give it a good rating because I'm satisfied.

Great Aurora with solid FSC acacia construction. Love the headboard and slat system. The walnut colour is slightly more red in person than the listing photos suggested.

Advise the supplier, to make the middle beam stronger, and to ship an extra support for the support to be attached on that beam._x000d__x000d_
Like so many other people suggested one or two don't fit (probably a few mm), have to go to the hardware store to get brackets to mount one of them on mine._x000d__x000d_

Beautiful warm acacia grain and completely solid construction. Really happy with the result. One instruction diagram was printed too small to read comfortably.

I ordered the Queen Size Bed. Everything was packed nicely, no damage. Assembly was easy, Screws fit perfectly, no extra tools needed. I did support the middle Section with some 4x4 pieces of Wood. It makes everything sturdy. One thing I noticed, the Slats are easy to put in Place, because of the Velcro. No Screws. But make sure you sit down on the Slats, and check if they stay in Place. If something isn’t perfectly leveled, the Velcro will lift, and the noise drive you crazy. I had to put a few Screws in the Slats, to get rid of the Noise. Overall a very nice Bed for the Price. My Mattress did fit perfectly. Happy with the Purchase.

First time buying such huge packaging product. The package arrived with some damage but internal parts are in good condition. Definitely needs two people to haul it into the house; My wife helped me assembling and took us around 45 minutes. She read the manual very thoroughly, following step by step. It is much easier than what I have initially expected._x000d__x000d_

After sleeping on it 5 days, it is very sturdy, quiet, and no odd odor... very happy with this bed frame!

This is a beautiful Acacia wood bed. Both its color and structure are attractive and well-designed. But ... it was too small for our queen mattress despite being listed as a queen-sized bed. It was about .5 to 1 inch too narrow on each side. Big shock to us. Had to take it apart and pay Fedex to ship it back, which cost us CDN $299! An expensive mistake for sure. :-/ One we couldnt predict or see until we had put the bed together. So beware! We've now ordered a different solid wood bed but from a big box store this time, which promises to take it back at *no cost* if it turns out to be unsuitable.

It's a pretty nice bed! It's solid & heavy. Looks nice! You Do Not need a box spring with platform beds! This is just our mattress. I took 1 star away, because I really wish the headboard was just a little higher. So the pillows don't block out the headboard. That's one thing I really liked about the look of the bed is the headboard. It's a beautiful color. I don't think the caramel or chocolate colors are really that far off. The smell that some people mentioned is definitely a thing. Its not over powering, but present. Im sure over time it will go away. We just got the bed yesterday so these are my first thoughts. If any issues creep up I will update my review!

Good solid FSC acacia Aurora with lovely minimal headboard. The padded slat system provides great support. One assembly connection needed more force than expected.

I specifically wanted FSC-certified solid wood and the Aurora delivers without compromise. Sustainable, beautiful, and built with obvious quality throughout.

The grain patterns on my Aurora headboard are genuinely unique and beautiful. I find new details in the acacia character every time I look closely at the wood.

The padded tape slats are a detail I did not expect to notice but I absolutely feel the difference. My mattress has never been more evenly supported.

The walnut acacia finish is richer and deeper in person than any product photo can show. The grain patterns catch morning light in the most beautiful way.

The bed is great. I assembled it alone while recovering from COVID and it didn’t kill me, so assembly wasn’t tough. My husband and I can’t, for the life of us, figure out what the block of wood thing is that came with the bed.
