Is a box spring required?
Nope! This is a platform bed frame with built-in solid wood slats, so you can place your mattress directly on it — no box spring needed.
What kind of wood is the bed frame made of?
Our frames are crafted from FSC®-certified solid Acacia/Rubberwood, responsibly sourced from sustainable plantations in Southeast Asia.
Is the wood treated with anything toxic?
Absolutely not. All finishes are non-toxic and safe for indoor use, keeping your home environment clean and healthy.
What mattress thickness works best with this bed?
We recommend using a mattress between 8–14 inches thick for optimal comfort and support.
How much weight can the bed support?

I had been searching for a long time to find a new bed that met all of my aesthetic needs. I stumbled upon Megsu purely on coincidence. Immediately, I knew that I had found something unique and special. Scrolling through the furniture and finding the Harmony bed frame, I knew I would search no further. My initial plan was to only purchase the bed frame, as I was quite happy with the rest of my bedroom furniture. The bed frame arrived rather quickly, and I excitedly got to assembling it (easy to assemble by myself). I was instantly in love! One issue though... I now knew that I needed to get the rest of the bedroom set to complete the aesthetic "look." I have ordered the side tables and will assemble them today. I am also going to order the dresser and the tall chest once back in stock. I am smitten with this collection. The details in the wood, craftsmanship, and price point, are unlike anything I could ever find in a store. I am so incredibly happy with this purchase.
Nice looking platform bed but one headboard panel arrived with a slight surface bow. The headboard looks okay assembled but I expected better for this specific price point.

We assembled the bed frame yesterday and I was disappointed to see that one of the main connection points was cracked where the bed rail meets the footboard. Quality Control should not have let this product leave the manufacturing facility. We like the way it looks in our bedroom and the color looks the same as the website.
The finish is smooth and easy to clean. A quick wipe with a damp cloth is all it needs.
